Knee Arthroscopy

Minimally invasive keyhole diagnosis and treatment of internal knee joint issues.

Knee arthroscopy is used to address cartilage damage, loose floating bone fragments, synovitis, and minor meniscus tears. By making tiny 4mm incisions, Dr. Sai Dinesh inserts a microscopic fiber-optic lens to examine and treat the joint directly with minimal post-operative recovery time.

Common Indications

Knee arthroscopy may be considered for:

  • Meniscal tears, including selected repairable tears
  • Certain cartilage injuries
  • Loose bodies within the joint
  • Persistent mechanical symptoms such as true locking or catching
  • Synovitis and selected inflammatory conditions
  • Selected ligament and sports-related injuries
  • Evaluation and treatment of certain conditions that have not improved with appropriate non-surgical treatment

Recovery Journey

Recovery depends on the procedure performed.

First few days

First few weeks

Progressive range-of-motion exercises and physiotherapy.

Following weeks to months

Gradual strengthening and return to normal activities or sport, depending on the procedure and healing requirements.
