Shoulder Arthroscopy

Advanced keyhole access to treat rotator cuffs, subacromial decompressions, and labrum stability.

Shoulder arthroscopy bypasses large shoulder muscle divisions. By inserting a fiber-optic camera and miniature surgical instruments, Dr. Sai Dinesh treats frozen shoulder, bone spurs, impingement syndrome, and labral tears with minimal tissue disruption.

Common Indications

Shoulder arthroscopy may be considered for:

  • Rotator cuff tears
  • Shoulder instability and recurrent dislocation
  • Labral tears, including Bankart lesions
  • Selected subacromial pain and rotator cuff disorders
  • Adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) that has not responded to appropriate non-surgical treatment
  • Selected cartilage and other intra-articular conditions

Recovery Journey

Recovery varies according to the procedure performed.

First few days to weeks

Pain control, sling support where required, and protection of the repaired tissues.

Following weeks

Guided range-of-motion exercises and physiotherapy.

Following months

Progressive strengthening and gradual return to work, daily activities, or sport.

Recovery Journey

Day 1 – 7: Support & Comfort

Patient wears a comfortable arm sling. Cryotherapy helps soothe joint irritation.

Week 2 – 6: Passive Rehabilitation

Sling is removed gradually. Gentle assisted stretching restores passive shoulder height.

Month 3+: Active Strength

Resistance band drills begin, returning shoulder rotational control and muscle load capacity.
